Don't let me scare you with my thoughts.

Why I Blog

Once upon a time I wanted to be a journalist… then life happened.  I wanted to be that kind of journalist who jumps over barbed wire fences to get the latest story, who pesters to get the truth, who gets to air her hardcore opinions to the world.  I wanted to be that journalist who pushes the human race to delve deep within their souls, and I wanted bad people who saw me coming to say, “oh no, it’s her, hide!”  Instead, I’ll have to settle for doing all this within a blog, minus jumping over barbed wire fences.

So what do I actually blog about?

-I’m going to try to dish out some wisdom, stuff I’ve learned along my dysfunctional journey.  I’ll write about life as a parent, grandmother, and wife of a disabled combat vet, and those not so pleasant issues of the past.  I’m on a mission to tackle my cynicism and sarcasm -to transmute everything negative into positive.  Journalist?  I changed my mind.  I wanna be a guru.

It sounds like we are on the same track. I also plan to do DIY; product reviews and personal blogging. And it looks like we have started this journey at the same time. (Product review Blogging)

It’s a fun journey, but also very time consuming. I look forward to reading your blog on this journey, too.

Barbed wire jumping is highly overrated. I’ve tried it a few times… trust me.

Ha, ha. Makes me wonder what predicament you were in to need to jump barbed wire. 🙂

Just playing in the woods as a kid. New Hampshire is loaded with abandoned farms, so you find woods with stone walls and, occassionally, barbed wire…

Thanks for following my blog. Isn’t it funny how life works out? Mine is nothing like I expected it to be when I was younger, but I’m so glad it turned out the way it did. I’d rather be blogging than writing for a boss who tells me what to write. 🙂
